Dr. Basel Alhaddad, MD is a highly skilled interventional cardiologist dedicated to delivering advanced, patient-focused cardiovascular care. He is board-certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, and Internal Medicine.


Dr. Alhaddad earned his Doctor of Medicine from Damascus University, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He later pursued advanced training in interventional cardiology, specializing in minimally invasive procedures used to diagnose and treat complex heart conditions.


In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Alhaddad serves as a Clinical Instructor at NYU Langone Health, where he actively contributes to the education and training of future physicians. His academic role ensures that his practice remains aligned with the latest evidence-based guidelines and evolving standards of care.


Dr. Alhaddad’s philosophy centers on prevention, precision, and partnership. He works closely with patients to identify cardiovascular risk factors early, develop personalized treatment plans, and promote long-term heart health and quality of life.
